Is it cheaper to go by taxi, rather than the bus, for four adults, to Csv, Alcudia and pollensa town?

Well it's €1.50 for a single on any of those bus routes.

Only experience of a taxi was €20 from Alcudia into Pollenca (13km) so I guess it's going to be €12 from town to/from port (8km)??

The bus only goes to csv every 2 hours so your plans may be dictated anyway...

Last year we chose to go by taxi from the 'new rank' at top right of the square in PP. It was 15 euros each way for 4 of us.

As previously mentioned there are very few buses that stop at CSV- we only found one about 10.30am and for return at about 4.30pm. When we phoned for return journey it was barely 10 minutes before the taxi arrived. Convenience was worth the cost!
