For those of you who remember the great Gloria Gaynor I thought you may be interested in knowing that she is appearing at the Casino in Magalluf on 24th June. Have just purchased tickets so I WILL SURVIVE!!!
There are some great concerts coming up over the summer for all music fans, whether it be classical, jazz or rock.

Thanks for keeping us informed JMD40. Is there a website that would have listings for summer concerts (of all varieties)? We could all check it out before our various holidays and see what's on.

Excellent website called www.digamemallorca.com has listings of musical, artistic, theatre and intersting events across the Island. They also produce a monthly Whats on in Mallorca small pamplet which is distributed through various points across the Island - travel club of upminster office have small supply in Port de Pollença.
Also www.jazzvoyeur.com has details of its 2006 programme in Mallorca . 7th July Roberta Flack and 23/7 Herbie Hancock for those Jazz lovers. This is who is sponsering Gloria Gaynor concert as well as many others.

Thanks, I really appreciate that JMD40. Unfortunately, the Digame website hasn't been launched yet, but I'll keep checking on it, and keep my eye open for the pamphlet.

Oh dear, sorry I should have checked it out first but it is printed along the top of their pages - strange!! I have not had to refer to it for a while as I receive the leaflet now but it was previously called the rather long winded www.digameonline.com and covered various spanish resorts before Mallorca branched out on its own - or something.
