Good News For Flights North of the Border This Winter

Easyjet have announced that their Glasgow-Palma flights will continue twice a week throughout the winter instead of ceasing on 29th October:-

Very true Sparky! Us Scots have been lamenting the lack of Winter flights to Palma, well there you have it, available once again. Now it's time to put money were the mouths were and support the service. Majorcas lovely in Winter and i would urge people who wouldn't normally go to give it a try, it's a marvelous tonic.

Quite a brave move by Easyjet considering the current climate, and i wish them every success, but i feel we really have to have a few more hotels open if they wish to fill planes.

Best news for us, almost there with our long hunt to buy our apartment, must be luck that we now have winter flights from our home airport!

Looking at extra flights now for November and January, great winter to come.

That's what always put me off, as you know you could have a trouble free run down there, but there's always the possibility it could be horrendous, not as if you could put it off to the next day. Some of the journies we took to Prestwick were bad enough in Winter.

smiddy, the last 2 years at xmas the weather has been aweful on the way down m74 and m6 in middle of night for a 6am flight from liverpool, year before we travelled down a day before and booked a hotel but all adds to the cost, hopefully this year will be a breeze
