Hello,

We are off to PP next week and staying in the Llenaire area. Please can we have recommendations for good value eateries (doesn't need to be haute cuisine!) where there is a choice of vegetarian options. Directions from Llenaire - we're staying at the Voramar apts - would be appreciated as we haven't stayed in PP previously!

Thanks,
womblemonty

P.S. Does anyone know how late the Llenaire restaurant stays open? It will be very late when we arrive, so somewhere open late and within short walk would be great!

Hello womblemonty,
Not sure about the Llenaire area, but almost all restaurants in the Port have vegetarian options, we are a family of veggies and vegans and have always managed to find something where ever we go, the vegetarian paella in Tangos is the best.

We returned yesterday, and I found Tango to be the best for 'real' vegetarian options. The Setan stir-fry was great! Don't know if it's bean curd, but was tasty!

I am veggie too !! and i have never had any problems with finding place to eat in PP... i love bony's feta cheese salad.. it's massive .... and (i think it's called) Tiberi do some fine examples of simple but yummy vege dishes too... i agree with you whole heartedly about tango's paella... it's the best !!!
All the best

I'm vegetarian too and have just returned from a week on the Pine Walk pounds heavier after some great meals.

The Setan stir fry in Tango is very nice, but don't try the cutlets as they would make a better doorstop:rollin
Paella is always good - if you can get it. Most of the restaurants only seem to want to do it if two share, fortunately Don Corleone's sorted me out.
There was a nice menu in Tribeca but we never quite made it through the door:\ maybe next time !
I had a very nice meal in El Mojito and also a good vegetable curry in Kashmir.
However one of the cheapest and most relaxed evenings was buying a take-out from the Codfather and eating it sat right out on the end of the marina looking back at the bright lights of PP - wonderful :)

Hi Wobbblemonty
Its a long walk from Llenaire but we like L'Almirant near Hotel Daina, they do larger than usual portions of tapas with veggie options. Also the Tex Mex ( abit further along, not the one in the square) do nice veggie quesadillas, Centric in the square do a vast range of pizzas and Tiberi have some excellent veggie dishes.
Have a great Hol

Hi SuffolkSteve,

We came back last week, but thanks for the recommendations anyway! Like RingSpain, I did put on the pounds, so probably really am 'wobblemonty'!!
We may have had pizza in Centric - can't remember the name of the place, but it was in the square. Bit expensive, though. We also had pizza at Tamarells beach bar a couple of times, but didn't return after they charged per small bread roll and also per portion of butter!

RingSpain - yes, I tried the cutlets/doorstops at Tango, too! The veg was nice which came with them! The head waiter had previously told me the Setan was nicer, and he was right!
We didn't make it to the Codfather, but Other Half had made noises about going there. Maybe I should have tried their veggieburger - didn't see them anywhere else!

Just wish we could have had 3 weeks instead of 2...Llenaire was so relaxing. Never mind, maybe next year!
