I always think it's interesting seeing so many people waddling along with their bags for life ,I'm a green bag ,I'm saving the planet bags,and tutting at the PP supermarkets dishing out plastic bags like there's no tomorrow then the same people go to their rented villa,open all the windows leave the air con full blast, switch on the hot tubs jump in the pool and leave all outside lights on 24/7 for the duration of their stay. No, i don't rent any villas out, i just observe life

Ah but Ray they are not so keen to dole out the plastic bags now but do take your point about air conditioning.

I'll always remember hearing a tourist remark about their hire car "but it's only a rental - what does it matter....."

I am afraid that this is the mindset of some (not the nice people on this forum of course)
