Hand Luggage - Thomas Cook

A word of warning - the hand luggage allowance on Thomas Cook flights is only 6kg. Friends of mine leaving Palma this morning had to pay 160€ in excess luggage charges as their two hand bags were 10kg each.

I assume that is published in their booking details somewhere? If not how outrageous and even more so the excess charge.
I bet most of us assume it's usually 10kgs, me for one.

Thomson only allow 5k hand luggage on their flights....and an even smaller size bag too.

Thompson's are the worst if you book flight only as Lorenzo says only 5 kilo hand luggage.( that's basically a lap top and a bar of chocolate the idiots.) I have had first hand experience of this and they are very strict its obviously how they skim more money end result I have NEVER FLOWN WITH THEM AGAIN short sighted and stupid way to run an airline in this very competitive market. alienate the people who travel the most well done Thompson's
