Hi again. We are coming back this year after a lovely hol last summer. But I'm after some advice. Last November we got organised and booked 2 nights at the Pollensa Park for the end of June as our apartment wasn't available to coincide with flights. But I've just been looking to check transfer arrangements and the hotel seems to have vanished from the Cabot hotels website. Is it just me??? We've not paid yet so could book somewhere else instead if needs be. Just a bit unnerving. I've also just read a particulately bad review on Tripadvisor... Any advice very welcome!!

The hotel is definitely open but is under new management, i think :)

Hi Holidaynewbie, I noticed that on the Travel Republic website its now called the Fergus Pollensa Park, so it may be on the Fergus Hotels website. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. I will check out the website and call them to check it all out. Fingers crossed :-)

It's on the Fergus Hotels website. They should be able to help.

According to Cabot Hotels website they only have Hobby Club appartments Las Velas and the Romantic Hotel and one private large villa Can Borras

Looked on Trip Advisor and the reviews for the food for the Pollensa Park were dire ! Needs a big investment I think Also people I know who have stayed at the Romantic for many years said it had gone downhill a great deal over the last few years Has a wonderful position though and very nice staff

Four of our friends stayed there (Romantic)last October, one a cordon bluer cook, and had nothing but good things to say about it.

Pollensa Park

I just got back from Majorca yesterday. I booked Pollensa Park but cancelled it after I saw it had changed hands and when I saw the reviews. Glad I stayed clear, suggest you do the same.

We are staying at Las Velas in June and the deal was that keys could be obtained from the Pollensa Park and we could use their facilities. I wonder where that leaves us

I would suggest that you email them for confirmation.

You'll probably have to pick keys up at Romántic hotel no the seafront

Hi just to say that the new owners seem to have our booking which is a relief, but the comments from Cityfan and Copper are worrying me... I've looked at the Tripadvisor reviews and while there were some bad ones, there are quite a few good ones too...but then you never know with Trip Advisor. It's just for 2 days before we can get into our SC place but hope it's OK!!! If anyone has better recommendations for a nice family friendly hotel near the beach for 28th and 29th June (and likely to still have rooms) I'd be interested!

For 2 days I would personally stick with it

Its such a great situation Lots of people seem to think the rooms are Ok If you dont like the food there are a few places to eat around there which have good British food Golden Lion .Palms Bar . and a few quite simple Spanish places as well and for 2 days Im sure that will be OK

We stayed in the Romantic quite a few times as you cant beat the situation and the food did go downhill so we just had B&B the last times Now we have found a nearby apartment Staff are great but we were told by some of Cabot Hotel staff that they were struggling and cutting back their operations and this new takeover of the PP might long term be a good thing

So many great Restaurants in the Port we do prefer to please ourselves
