hi has anyone stayed in Villa Rospola

Hi we are heading over to pp for first time in 5 weeks and have booked this villa on the corner of carrer voltor. If anyone has any experiences of this villa good bad or indifferent it is all appreciated. Also whats the neighbourhood like, location for amenities ect.

We have stayed in this villa a number of times so that should tell you something. Positives are the location which is excellent. It is an easy walk into the port and an even shorter one down to the area around the Pollensa Park where there are some good restaurants. There are couple of bars and cafes very nearby including the Hideaway where John Lynham plays. The villa is very spacious has lots of character and the pool is one of the biggest we have had and is in a lovely garden with a pleasant shaded patio area for al fresco dining plus there are different outdoor seating areas around the villa. Although it is in a residential area it is quiet and peaceful. There are no major downsides but the kitchen is not the best equipped and small for the size of the villa. The bathrooms are a bit dark and for us the main disadvantage was that the sun beds are not adjustable which meant they were rather uncomfortable if you like to lie and read. The off road parking is a bit tight but there was never a problem parking in the street. The pool table is at the front of the house overlooked from the street and is in a bit of a cramped space and away from the pool area. Wifi connection was a bit erratic but not a major problem.
Overall the advantages far outweigh the more negative aspects and we would happily return. Hope this is of some help.
