Has anyone stayed at the Eolo recently? If there is, any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Tonsyl, i have not stayed there myself but i remember a post from Bee a few weeks ago saying her son was there and he seemed to be happy with it. Hope this helps.

Hi there, Phil and I stayed there this year (oct) and thought it was great. Very clean room, friendly staff and lovely view. Yes there is noise but like's been said it's a prime location so that's to be expected.
Only thing we wondered about is the lack of A/C? We were there in October but can't imagine how hot it must get in August?

Hi Tonsyl, we stayed at the Eolo in July and enjoyed our stay so much that we are thinking of booking another week there next year.Carlos the owner is a perfect gent with nothing being too much of a hassle to accomondate your needs.
When i booked this year and aired my doubts about what i read on trip advisor,he actually replied to my post giving me his e mail address so i could reply to him with any queries.He also took time out to reserve a family room with a balconey and sea front view for me.
Like whats been said before because of the location it can be a bit noisey but on the other hand its great to walk out the front door and into all the bars and restaurants

Thanks again for the posts re the Eolo. sounds well worth a visit sometime. I origionally enquired on behalf of friends who were thinking of booking there and on the strength of your replies, they have now booked for next May via Alpharooms.
