i read something on Trip Adviser that someone who stayed there had been told it was which was why the food was so bad this year but thats all I have seen

We have stayed there several times because of its location and though it is "tired" we have always been happy there and the staff have been so nice also I suppose if it is it would be the Pollensa Park as well ??

Would be interested in hearing more An employee did tell us earlier in the year they had let the leases go on the Bellamar and The Galleon and were concentrating on the ones they owned

Our 2012, June, booking in the Romantic, just cancelled by Thomsons. Offered us Puero Azul instead. We are in the position of not knowing whether to accept change or not.

I have just looked on Group Cabot who own Romantic and they still seem to be operating next year

Perhaps they have just changed Holiday Companies If you still want to go there you could email them They have always replied in the past when I have emailed them

The only downside is it's not right on the front, but it is a good location, central to everywhere, beach, square etc, and is of a better standard than the Romantic. I personaly would go for it. But if your looking for total peace and quite then it would not be the place for you as there is entertainment around which can be noisy up until 11.30.

Thank you for your advice, Smiddy we have booked it. We have stayed in the Romantic the last 16 years so, hopefully, "a change is as good as a rest".

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've never stayed there, but have a apartment right next to it, nice big swimming pools and of a high standard, i would reckon you'd be paying more if you had booked the Azul in the 1st place, so your not being short-changed in any way. The beaches are only yards away.
