Ice cream shack

Ready for our first visit of the year this weekend, and so excited - spend most of the working day browsing the seemallorca web cam!

Usually we stay on the Pine Walk but this year going to the other side of the bay, so will seem like a different holiday.

Kids are asking is the ice cream shack open for business?

They were glad to see on previous threads that Jokers and Dakotas are open for lunch.

I expect most of the places are starting to open up again, when we were out last March it was nice to see the place getting ready for the season and then in October closing down.

Seems like ages since October and i need my Majorca "fix"

oh dear - not sure the kids are going to be happy - they have been talking about jaffa cake ice cream for weeks - oh well - maybe by the weekend then?

Been here since last Saturday and not seen it open atall. Must be due to open very soon though?

The Ben and Jerries shop is a rip off..seriously high prices, we went once and never again, much prefer that proper cafe that also does the CAKE!!!!!!

Friends staying with me have definitely had ice creams from the Lorenzo Valls ice cream shack this week Maybe it's only open on certain days and at certain times.....

It is definitely open - the kids have used it several times this week - it's been open every time I've walked past. Maybe it is opening later/closing sooner at present?

Excellent - thanks for the updates folks - already told the youngest its closed - he thinks i am joking - so will keep it as a surprise!

Update/correction - it opened about 20 minutes after I posted and the missus said it was open yesterday so maybe breaking in gently for the full season ahead?!

Re Ben and Jerrys, no idea about pricing but I can tell you that yesterday was FREE ice creams all day. My lad went twice! No catches, doesn't get better than that.
