..............know just what ya mean GG... I left the groceries outside my caravan in Millport while I put the luggage in... came back out to witness 2 big black crows taking off with ½lb bacon and a string of links ! ( a truth )
Like u say....opportunist criminal anywhere

But bottom line is dont make urself a victim. Be aware. and a wee bit of common sense goes a long way !

A couple of years ago we were in an apartment in Pine Walk. We let in the 2 girls to do the cleaning and we were either in the apartment or on the balcony. After they left, my OH couldn't find his little silver pill box (pressie from me) in which he had his lunchtime pill. He knew exactly where he had left it - same place in the kitchen area every day - but it was nowhere to be found. In all the years we have been coming to PP, we have never ever had any reason to mistrust the cleaning personnel, and We reluctantly reported it to the company we had rented from - but never heard anything else. The girls were neither Spanish nor English, and from the language they were using to each other, they sounded as if they were from one of the east European countries.
