Used to visit Iru every year but had a rubbish experience this year and won't be going again. We went for lunch on our last day. The waiter took the order and all seemed ok. My husband decided on a beer a short while later so we asked the waiter - no problem he said but it never arrived despite a reminder. The meals started to arrive - husband's tapas, daughter bocadillo but then my Chicken Caesar Salad didn't arrive or the chips to go with the sandwich. We waited and after five minutes reminded them. A few minutes later the chips arrived along with the salad but no chicken on it so another reminder. Next a plate of chicken arrives! Still no beer. The plates then sat on our table for a good 15 mins and finally someone realised we existed and asked if we wanted a dessert. Erm - no thanks. Would rather pay up and go elsewhere for an ice cream and a bit of respect. Such a shame but would rather spend my money elsewhere going forward!
