Is this a valid payment method?

We are renting an apartment in PP again this August and have been asked to make payment of the deposit by credit card at the following web address.

I know Sa Nostra is a "kosher" bank, the question is has anybody seen/used this before and is it a legitimate site?

Hi Super7 and welcome, a few things to consider, can you contact them by phone to ask about this payment method, if it is a large company then there is more chance of it being genuine, if you check the padlock symbol at the top of the page near the web address this will give you a report on the security of any page, this will tell you if the web page is secure and encrypted, but this wont tell you if it is genuine, you can have a secure but false website. Hopefully someone else can tell you if they have used the website safely, hope this helps.

I agree. My first instict would be to stay well clear, but as you say, it may well be genuine. Definitely needs to be confirmed though.

If you search for ceca.es it opens the website for the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks so it looks OK

This was useful, as was GDJ's comment so thanks. TBF the property we're renting is through Owners Direct and has been advertised for several years now so I was fairly comfortable it was genuine. Looks like the spanish banks have has stolen a march on our archaic system again.

Sorry Pollensa we didn't get the apartment through PP.com but we did get a VW Polo for 3 weeks in August for 386 euros from CarRentals.co.uk through here, so that was a result! Cheers! I'll post it in the Car Hire section.
