Jellyfish!

A warning to bathers, my 15 year old nephew was stung by a jellyfish yesterday. He was playing ball in the sea off the beach down past Tolos. It was quite a large sting resulting in painful red welts all down his left side. The lifeguards treated it there and then and we subsequently took him to the chemist who prescribed strong antihistamine tablets and some cream. She didn’t seem very surprised so it’s obviously not the first one she’s seen, you think there’d be a warning flag or something! Luckily he’s making a good recovery. Be careful out there!
