Hi

Im currently raising money via my sons Karting Race school and we holding a mums and dads grand prix on 11/12 so we can show our kids how its done!!!!! NOT.

All money will go to the Northampton air ambulance. We are trying to raise £750 and the company i work for will match that.

Onto the question is there any of you wonderful people who have an apartment in PP would be willing to donate a week out of season as a raffle prize for this worth while cause?

Hope you all dont mind me asking i know its a bit cheeky but i thought i can only ask.

Thanks

Gordon:)

Hi Rangers, Judging by the response, i'd take that as a no!!!!!

Sorry pressed post button twice

Seems that way. We have some great prizes and 1 week or a weekend in PP would been good and for such a good cause as well.

cheers

Gordon

Hi Gordon

Send me a PM with all the details - no promises but I MAY be able to help.

Hi Gordon

Just wanted to wish you Good Luck with the "Mums & Dads Grand Prix" tomorrow. Hope you raise loads of cash for your cause.

Gina & Danny

Gina

Thanks for your good wishes. Thanks to you and Bella for the prizes for what is now an auction for these 2 prizes and a track day in a racing car plus we now have over 40 raffle prizes.

We are not taking the grand prix seriously !!!!! oh yes i am 4 practices sessions. We look as though we will raise £1000 plus Barclays will match that so it should be a good evening.

Thanks again to you Danny and Belladonna for you kind offers to the event.

Cheers

Gordon

Hi

Just to say a massive thanks to Gina & Danny at pphr-direct.com and Belladonna as your kind gifts for our Mums & Dads grand prix helped raise £2000 plus Barclays will add £750 to that for the air ambulance in warwickshire.

Bella the owner of the track out bid everyone for your weeks holiday and Gina one of my co-organisers out bid everyone for your holiday and your vouchers were all won in the raffle.

So from everyone that to part and bought tickets ,bid for prizes etc a massive thank you to you both.

Cheers

Gordon:):):)

Well done Gordon!

Well done Gordon! What a fantastic result! I bet you are well pleased with the amount you raised.

Danny and I are very happy that our contributions, together with those from all the others who donated, helped you and your fellow organisers raise such a respectable amount for your cause.

Congratulations to you all!

Gina & Danny

PS - Forgot to ask! Did YOU win any of the races?

Fantastic result, you did really well, well done! The Air Ambulance is such a worthy cause and has so little funding - like most charities obviously. A friend of mine unfortunately had need of them a few years back when she had a horse riding accident and they couldn't get an ambulance to her, and they were absolutely amazing. Glad to have been able to help you to help them.

Yes a fantastic result. Well done Gordon & your team of helpers.

This particular cause was very dear to our hearts as Danny was in urgent need of an Air Ambulance many years ago now, when he had just completed his Naval training at Plymouth. He had a very serious accident out at sea doing life-boats excercises in a violent storm, resulting in the loss of two fingers and had to be air lifted to Truro. Thanks to the prompt response of these fabulous people they were able to get him to hospital in time to save his other fingers! He later was able to finish his training and spend the following 20 years in the service.

Glad we were able to help!

Well done Gordon and all who helped in this good cause.

Mate of mine had a trip in the air ambulance a few years back and might not have been here today but for the excellent service.

See it regularly heading in to the local hospital!:)

Well done you all.
