I had a moan here a few weeks ago about the cost of J2's flights for next May - £200 up on previous year, but as we had booked the accommodation felt it was best to get the flights sorted at the same time. Wrong decision! Got an email from LBA yesterday saying that Monarch are starting to fly from there to Palma and when I did a quick like- for- like comparison on our flights - we would be paying over £100 less

Ouch!! I feel your pain. I love Monarch ( A Proper Airline) so happy they are going to be flying from LBA will shake Jet2 up they need it me thinks they have a gotten a little to big for there boots just lately The Other lot that fly from LBA live in cloud cuckoo land anyways so it wont effect them No I don't mean Thompson or Thomas Cook. bet you A Guinness you have already worked out who I mean LOL

So did I - and it didnt make me feel any better Strange isn't it that almost immediately after the email re Monarch flights, J2 suddenly knock off 10%

Second thoughts - probably not so strange really!
