Hi We visited this restaurant two weeks ago and it was really good,this was the restaurant with fresh vegetables during our 2 weeks stay. Free good starter with Crispy bread.
Starter gambas al ajillo, very good, strong butgood. Sea Bass with fresh vegtables for me, homemade hamburger for my husband, really good, homemade potatoes, cheese adn bacon, Crema Catalana to my husband, 1 bottle of white wine, 2 bottles of water, 1 coffee Euro 55,- We will come back

Bedfordboy I can confirm La Fortalesa has exceptional food and is very good value for money. Highly recommended.The tomato bread freebie is brilliant

La Fortalesa was my parents favourite restaurant and had been for a number of years before it closed. I noticed it had re-opened with no noticable changes decor wise when we were in PP in June, but we didn't actually eat there so couldn't vouch for the food. It sounds like we could have missed a treat and my parents will be thrilled it is open again and well worth a visit when they are next over.
