La Posado de LLuc

First time going to Majorca and we have selected the Pollenca area to stay in. I would like to know the feedback from anyone who has stayed at La Posado de Lluc or have knowledge of it.

La Posada de Lluc is a lovely small family run Hotel, and has been refurbished to the highest quality and is situated very near the wonderful old Cloisters and gardens of the Beautiful town of Pollensa, I am sure you will enjoy your first visit to Mallorca staying in what I think is an Ideal place. La Posada de Lluc

I have been informed that La Posada de Lluc is 7 km from the beach. Is there a way to access the beach via public access? I am accustom to staying at a hotel that has beach access, but then the public is not allowed in that area unless you stay at the hotel. The beach will be important to me so clearly I want to be able to access it. Do you think this is possible if I stay at La Posada. It looks like such a great place with a unique setting not very tourist-like which is also what I enjoy on vacation.

The Beaches in Puerto Pollensa are totally Public access so no problem, also there is the lovely bay of Cala san Vicente about the same distance away.

Staying in the Posada de Lluc you are about 7km from the more tourist resort of Puerto Pollensa, but if you have a car or use one of the regular bus services you will have no problem mixing a beach holiday and enjoying the benifits of staying in Old Pollensa.

La Posada de Lluc

My mum and dad stayed there about 8 weeks ago and have said it had been refurbished to a very high standard. It has a lovely open air outdoor pool and that the staff were extremely friendly. They would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting this lovely area.
