Where?
Facing the church in the Square go up Tramuntana on the left and it is on a corner two blocks up facing the Police and Poliesport..
About three years ago we were in and enjoyed our meals, not many tourists, but plenty locals, but it has changed hands probably twice since then. Used to be run by a local, Antonio and his Belgian wife who was a lovely girl.
Anyway we wandered in on a Saturday night 8.30 suitably aperitifed. Only one couple in but we said we're up here so here we go!
Guy comes in a T shirt and gives us the Menu. It is only a small printed snack size menu but it had full starters, mains etc on it, but no English and the guy spoke none. Menu in Spanish and I think Mallorquin.
We go for what turned out to be lamb chops with very nice chips.Five large lean perfectly cooked chops in a stack! We chose the same and of course bread ,olives, alioli, and a mid range red Rioja.
As we were eating wham!
Bang!
Cars pulling up outside ,mini buses. People coming in like no tomorrow and all Spanish . Old ladies ,big families, the lot Joint jumping with atmosphere!
Nice dessert , can't remember ,coffee , brandies, complimentary scnapps but the pleasure was the atmosphere and the main course ,simple but delicious.
Bill with the tip dunno maybe 40 Euros. Nowt for the theatre and enjoyment of it all.
And we went back on our last dayfor lunch for the Menu del Dia 7 Euros . A steal!!
