Hi guys!
And better say gals too!
Wonder who is behind this Aussie themed place. When it was Victor's Bar it was fronted, if I remember, by Paco, from El Pozo, the name Victor being his son.
Just another blot on the face of PP!
Trouble is, on other topics we are learning that the various Tex Mex places seem to be well patronised, so there are enough people prepared to do that, so it looks as if they'll go for their Aussie experience too.
I googled Dakota Tex Mex and came up with some info, allbeit two years old, but a recent comment by Bonyslad re Cafe Algar makes me wonder what is going on in PP. Strikes me certain local interests are hellbent on making money and sod what anyone thinks about the general pleasant ambience most of us love.

Aussie place really isn't pretty. Looks huge inside, too. Can't remember its predecessor being quite as big.
Have just returned from PP and share some of the concerns about the new additions. They appear to be designed for a clientele which didn't use to visit the port but which may now be attracted.
However one year of 'Euro-angst' may put them off. Every cloud.......

Well, would you have believed it, walked past earlier this evening and the Tex Mex King is sweeping out the new Oz Bar !!!!. So this must be the fourth !!!!!
Almost makes me feel sorry for the Aussies !!!!!!
Just when I don't think it can get any worse, we pop in to Bonys for a pre dinner drink and shock, horror it has been vandalised this p.m. Big clean up operation cos oil has been thrown over the main canopy of Bonys. Police turn up and lots of arm waving. What is going on here, sheer mindless vandalism !!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to compile these pictures .Just makes it all so much closer when you can flick through the restaurants and imagine
that is where you are going to eat tonight instead of in front of the TV after a hard day at the office.

Couldn't get a photo of the new mural of the F1 car, and 2 motorbikes at Little Italy - just got back and forgot to get a photo.
