An evening of poetry at the Rosa Blanca 11th Sept 2021

Ismael is organizing a poetry day on 11th of September 2021 at 8:30 pm at The White Rose. It's a special day for Poetry in Mallorca and certain parts of Spain since it has been always the ultimate day for poetry since the 11th of September , 1714, day on which the city of Barcelona was utterly destroyed.


You are all invited to participate in the event and invited as well to read your favourite pieces of poetry. The poems can be performed in any language you desire. To inscribe yourself to read send the Rosa Blanca a message to their Facebook page.

Maria Antonia will be singing at Bar Tothom on Thursday evening (12th August 2021) from 8.3opm.
Bar Tothom (formerly Bar Manolo) serves some tasty tapas and has outisde tables to the left of the church in the main square.

If you like the music of Micheal Buble . Dean Martin etc on a |Friday evening they have the most unassuming incredible singer , I strongly recommend you go along and listen to this man effortlessly sing some amazing classics

Its a night you will enjoy for sure . they also have the Beatles the Bee Gees Abba and Elvis Quality tribute acts on other nights.
If you are not sure where it is it is close to the Pollenca Park Hotel Now called Hotel Cabot . Venture down they do great food also

Emma Rossi will be back at Mullys Bar this evening (12th August 2021). She has a great voice and range of songs - and will be on stage from 8.00pm till late. Hopefully, she'll be able to get Alex who runs the bar, to sing a couple of songs too.

A sad day for live music

Bad news! Mullys bar has received information that they may be 'denounced' for having the rock band, The Hustlers playing there.

So from next Tuesday it will be Guillermo only playing there solo - and not the whole band.

Playing all the hits, neighbours permitting.

Also Guillermo Segui will be playing solo at La Roca on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm till 9pm.
Also, no doubt, subject to the neighbours not complaining.

A few live music updates

All subject to change, but here is a list of the main live music in the port this month.

On Monday evenings, Emma Rossi will be singing at Bar Bondia.

Monday & Wednesday evenings (approx 7pm till 9pm) Guillermo Segui will be playing at La Roca Beach Bar.

On Tuesday evenings, Guillermo will be playing at Mullys most weeks but this week he'll be playing a Mully's on Wednesday evening (22nd Sept 2021) from 9.30pm

Friday evenings Guillermo will be playing at Nostalgia Bar Bistro.

On Saturday 25th September 2021, Mike Rogers and Joe Biddle will be performing at the Hideaway (the new one in Club del Sol).

Derek Holt plays at La Rosa Blanca on Saturday evenings and at Store Formentor on Sunday afternoons from about 5pm.

Live music most evenings still at the Lemon Bar.

Elvis tribute act (aka Dennis) is usually at Rosa Blanca on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

It looks like Guillermo Segui has taken over the Sunday afternoon live music gig at Store Formentor again.
