We are travelling with twin toddlers and my inlaws, one with fairly recent knee replacement! could anyone please advise on best area to be based ie proximity to cafes/bars, main square. Considering 2 properties in these areas only now. Many Thanks

Either should be fine. Llenaire is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main square. Bellresguard is about a 10 to 15 walk to the square coming from the other direction. If that sort of walk is an issue you might prefer to be more central. Either near the square itself (somewhere like Ipa Plaza) or somewhere in the Siller area would be less of a walk if you intend to head to the square each evening.

;enaire or Bellresguard

If you go for Bellresguard you won't be disappointed

One advantage of Bellresguard is the close proximity of the Illa D'Or

Morning coffee by the shallow pinewalk beach , always a few ( but never too many ) small children available for playmates. Nice place to end the evening for a nightcap outside watching the lights twinkle on the bay ......... twins hopefully fast asleep in their buggy !

Pine walk beaches at this end are great for little ones to trawl with a bicket and fishing net, plenty of hermit crabs which always fascinate toddlers and loads of fish to feed.

Walk to the square is about 10 or 15mins but is such a fantastic walk, we have done it with with elderly grandparents and toddlers many many times ............ some of the best memories of my whole life are of pushing the pushchair down the pinewalk with my little one singing twinkle twinkle little star as she fell asleep on a many a balmy evening

I can't comment on Llenaire because I don;t know the area too well

Llenaire oe Bellesreguard

Hi thill and welcome.

When I saw your post I just knew its cd would reply!;)

Did she once tell me she sold snow to Eskimos for a living?;)

Porto:)

I'm with its cd - although we normally stay in the centre of town now or a villa outside there will always be a soft spot in my heart for the "Pine Walk" end of town.

Lala :)

Before progressing to "1st Line" we rented for a number of years in Pinaret area.....a little closer to the marina/main square etc than Llenaire, not noisy (and I know many a family have availed themselves of the Villa Concha facilities on the odd occasion)...a lovely area.

Everyone will have an area they prefer, we have been going to PP since 1976 and have stayed in various locations but when we decided to buy six years ago we had made up our mind to buy in Llenaire as we enjoy the lovely walk into the town.
No matter where you decide to stay, you will have a great time.

Thanks everyone for all thoughts and advice..........I am finding the forum soooo useful, better advice than any travel agent. Have now decided on Bellresguard for our first trip to PP and am checking out all info re toddler friendliness!!

I agree with its cd. Bellresguard is the best spot in Puerto Pollensa. The apartments are huge in size and the gardens as well. Most apartments are finished in luxury style, super furniture, etc. Nothing like it.
