Have a look at the 'outlet' at Ford Inca.
Ex demos and ex rentals/lease cars.
Good luck ;)

Just checked the web site, charges as below

Tariffs

3 months paid parking: €395. Includes 6 exits from the car park.
6 months paid parking: € 675. Includes 12 exits from the car park.
1 year paid parking: € 1,095. Includes 24 exits from the car park.
Premium annual pass: € 1,295. Unlimited exits.

Does anyone know whether its cheaper to leave the car in the Official Aena Long-Stay Car Park, rather than in the multi-story?
I dont mind a short walk, if it saves a good amount of money

ive looked on the Aena website, but cant any prcing

Thanks
Brett

Have a look at a company called Park & Fly. They are located next to the airport and have a 24 hour shuttle bus service, which takes about 2 minutes to get from the terminal building to the parking. I used them for short term parking but they do long term as well. Great on service and price.

Hi

Do you leave your car keys with Park'n'Fly?

Thanks

Even my car

I noticed that no one replied to bhanmer’s post last May, but I’d be very interested to know if Park and Fly retain car keys, and more about where cars are actually stored. How easy is it for my relatives to use my car left at Park and Fly?

I’m getting close to deciding to buy a car. We have a few family members using our apartment and overall I think buying will be cheaper than renting.

Any advice vehicle owning Forum members can give (buying/servicing/taxing/ITV/parking) would be very much appreciated.

Thanks folks.

Duncan

Buy Japanese for reliability, except Nissan who are Renault in disguise.

I've parked the idea for now. We've just had 2 weeks (in the old town) and I did rent a Vanrell Berlingo for 5 days but I only did a couple of runs to the garden centre and down to Palma for a few more pieces of furniture but now the house is getting filled and we get to know more people in town we really dont need one. We do all our food shopping at the small shops or the Eroski 5mins walk away..

We took the bus to the port a few times (no arguments about who's the designated driver) and also over to Lluc and we walked back.

I do still fancy a Fiat 500 Abarth but if I had to buy anything I'd think about a Ford or Skoda as there are dealers in town (I'm very near the Renault garage too and as much as I like the Clio and Captur I cant bring myself to own one...)

Hi All

I don't seem to be able to find the pricing for the parking on the airport website?

any help?

We have a LHD car dealer in Nottingham
lhdcarbuyer.com
He's got LHD cars from couple of grand upwards & well worth a look if you want 2 buy a car for Spain without buying brand new

Hi All

any help?

Parking in the airport multistorey was €995 for 12 months, when we renewed it last April. Not sure if it has increased this year.
This covers 30 entries in the year, and parking on any floor except level 4.

If you want unlimited entries and parking on level 4 it is about an extra €300 for 12 months.

There are shorter contract available too.

I think it’s changed since April 2018. We took out a new contract in October at €1,095 giving 24 entries in a year.

Hi

I’m pretty sure the charges are on the website. To arrange an annual contract just go to the window at the Aena office in the car park. As you walk from the terminal and arrive at the car park you’ll pass a cafe on your left and the office is on the right. It took moments to arrange, they speak good English and they set up number plate recognition so getting in and out is an absolute breeze. We find that it now takes no more than 25 minutes from getting off the plane (hand baggage only) to driving out of the airport. Brilliant.

Hope this helps.

Thats perfect. Many thanks. I can't find it anywhere on the website and was worried they had stopped doing it. I am flying out monday to buy my car and wanted to make sure i know what i was going to do with the car when i leave.

If you already have the registration number for the car you are buying, you’ll be able to sort it out on arrival and then just drive into the car park on the way home. I hope it all goes smoothly for you.

Thank you Disorderly

Does anything in Mallorca go smoothly ? lol

The long term parking does work very well, as we do not have luggage we are off the plane across to the car park and in our villa in about an hour.

We have been there the last couple of summers, mostly boating. We love it, just can't cope with the bloody lines for the hire cars lol
