Just wondered if anyone has experience of losing a suitcase with ryanair? I flew out to Palma on the last flight from east mids last week (5th Nov), there were only 21 passengers and apparently six suitcases checked into the hold. Anyway, mine never arrived!
East mids confirmed it was on the aircraft and I was also told it had been scanned as arrived at Palma.
After being sent up to the Ryanair office in departures and then back down to the luggage carousels THREE times with a baby and a four year old in tow I gave up and left the airport, 2 hours after landing and very hot and bothered.
I have got nowhere with Ryanair (the lady i spoke to told me she would call the next day... When i called the office i was informed she had finished for the winter that morning!)
All i now have is a reference number to keep checking until its declared lost after 21 days and I can make a claim for the case and it's contents. I've also read that Ryanair are notorious at not paying up, or making a low offer. So I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else? And wanted to warn people not to pack their favourite/valuable items!
