Lunch at Il Giardino

We had a leisurely lunch at Il Giardino 2 weeks ago. The service was great although a wee bit disappointed that they have done away with the real linen at lunchtime - ho hum!

Shared bruschetta to start - delicious and then I ordered pesto pasta and other half pasta with goats cheese which he declared "too cheesy" so we swapped! It was very rich but delicious.

Bottle Rosado, 2 waters, 2 beers, 1 pudding (home made tiaramisu - yummy) and a cafe con leche - €63

Worth a visit.

Good to know you had good service. We had lunch there in May and had a problem with the service - but we did have linen! Food was excellent though.

No probs Sharon - service really very good although one waiter was either German himself or thought that we were German! I understood though! LOL!
