I thought the acting was great, and the storyline silly (but don't think it was meant to be anything other than that as it was a very black comedy drama)
Best thing is it ended on a cliff hanger so I'm sure they'll be another series

Yes a very strange ending I was expecting some sort of massacre !!
It did look a very open ending as where were they supposed to go with no passports and no clothes ??
I know a lot of people who have been watching it and it did seem quite popular so could be a follow up Hate endings like that !!

Really!!? Hope you are not teasing us all binny!! It does seem that everyone has the same thought though. Agree copper, one of those open ended finishes where you are asking a million and one questions.
How far do they get to the airport before they realise they look ridiculous, no passports, soaking wet and large wads of money.
Did the baddy shoot the goody, or did he hide in the pool of bloody water with the dead policewoman (definitely would have been a bad hair day for her.)
Did the goats all stampede down the mountain and save the day in some way.
All these questions and more will hopefully be resolved in the next series - its a fact - binny said so!
But I wouldnt rent them a villa!

Settled down comfortably to what I hoped to be a second night of gratuitous violence on TV ( Hands up guys , who watched the Celtic v Rangers match the night before ?? ) but oh dear me , it all went horribly flat IMO.
Dragged out the scene of burying poor old " Tiny " . Sparky, you're safe to start buying mince again though !!!!
Ten interminable minutes of wailing and gnashing of teeth as we tried to discover if Quin had shagged Rick's wife and how to get the marriage back on course ( Try to stop blubbing and wash that pigeon s**t out of your hair for a start , mate !!! )
Then we had the "make up scene", puhleease . None of you were worthy of the part of Tonto in the Village People and would have all failed the audition.
Finally Bax twigged ( after all he did study law for seven years ) that it was the local Old Bill after all and not the dreaded Serbians . Shame really cos was looking forward to them dodgy Serbs, come summer, running into the Rumanian Glee Band along the Pine Walk !!!!
Poor Senorita Plod got plugged and ended up in the spa . What a waste cos she would have been a great accompaniment to the 3m Euros and that villa. But Quin isn't exactly the brightest star in the sky , is he ??
Quin then packs of the lads to the airport shirtless and soaking wet . Don't agree with your comment , Bella. Sounds like a " normal" returning stag weekend to me .
So I rang Sky and asked them if they wanted me to take over the writing of the second series . They politely declined.
As you saw folks, apparently the guy squeezing through the gates at the end with the drawn pistol is going to kill the whole thing off.

Really disappointed with the ending. Personally I dont think they should do a 2nd series, it would have been better if they had have finished this one on a high!
Although if they did do a second onethen I might catch another glimpse of Max in PP again this summer!

ok I am assuming that anyone who is going to watch this has done so by now so feel it is safe to add my views re a sequel
How about Quinn having been Dominics partner in this right from before they even left the UK ................. it was Quinn who suggested they lock up their phones after all ............... it was Quinn that calmly sat outside as though were waiting for someone / something .................. it was Quinn who made sure he had the gun ....................
and for some reason decided not to get in the pool ( coz he knew the lady cop was on her way to wack his mates )
He now has the money and the villa and Dom is on his way to meet him to share the spoils
Only problem is that the plan was to finish off the other 3 ...... but he softened up at the end and let them go .............. but did they escape or did Dom find them prior to arriving at the VIlla .................. is he nbow in trouble with Dom or has he got away with it ?
Ok so I should either have been Miss Marple or I have an over active imagination
PS: I think I have found the VIlla ............. just a bit unsure whether I should post the link on here as I think it may be a bit of invasion of privacy for the owners ............. what do people think ?

Oh I am definately jumpiing on your band wagon on this one cd, I had the same niggling thoughts a few times too. The phones were the first thing that just seemed a bit out of place, and he took far more risks than the others all the way through, but wasnt sure if it was just him being a bit more "cocky" than the rest. He had the least to lose back home too.
And now they are talking about a second series - it alll seems to be making a bit more sense doesn't it! Well done you for pulling it all together Miss Marple!
Now as for the villa dilema. Oh its so tempting to get your opinion, after all, thats all it is isn't it? I don't think its that close to PP, but not being a walker I'm not sure of the countryside. Perhaps a 20 questions option may help!!

Had that Aggie Mackenzie filming " How clean is your house?" many moons ago in me pad. However people were pointing me out in the streets for several months after that !!!!

p.s. Lurve your theory and think maybe you are on the right track ( but don't identify it's location !!!).
" Miss Guardia Civil 2006", the lolly and the villa would be a "no brainer" for most of us .
Sadly don't think Quin's intellect quite stretches into that category !!!!

Just to let you know, for anyone over here who did not get to see the series and would like to, Nostalgia are going to show the first 2 episodes this Sunday 13th March starting at 1pm and the final 2 episodes on Sunday 20th March again starting at 1pm.

I too have found the villa and must admit was a bit disappointed that the website I viewed it on only had 4 photos, would love to have seen more. Can see why they chose that villa though it certainly is very private.
