Mad Dogs - Series 2

After looking unsuccessfully for the Mad Dogs villa in April we decided to try again this afternoon, as the weather had suddenly taken a turn for the worse! We set off to La Font with very ominous clouds in the sky We found the road that we thought the villa was in and drove slowly trying to peer up all the gated entrances to see if we could recognise anything. Suddenly ahead of us I noticed a lot of parked cars and a security guard standing outside the gates of a villa. We'd found it From the road you cant see the pool or villa but what we did see was loads of catering tents, caravans and various large film crew vehicles.

Sadly no sightings of The Boys' though

I swear I spotted Philip Glenister in the Eroski at Pollensa yesterday picking up some wine but thought I was probably imagining it. But now I've read they are back here filming - you never know!!

He says that series 2 airs in January and that "there is a very good chance [they] will do a third series in jan to be shown around sep 2012"

The "Welsh" crew were filming on Pine Walk yesterday but we didnt' recognise anyone famous.

The Welsh TV soap was getting filmed in a bar across the road from us(Spanish crew), the story was the girls were on holiday and thet fell out at the bar and one decides to take the bus trip to Formentor on her own. The crew asked us if we would like to be extras on the trip as they were looking for passengers for the coach, had to turn them down but some people went, ended up in Formentor for a couple of days and were paid the princely some of 6 euros an hour.

Be honest,would you watch "Mad Dogs" if it wasn't set in Mallorca?
In my opinion the first series was pretty poor and Mrs Stevo66 and I only watched it in the hope of recognising somewhere that we had visited.

A truism if ever!!!!!!

But it was great trying to identify places, even from the trailers!!

I will certainly be watching the series when it eventually gets sold to freeview, but wouldn't dream of buying it!!!
