Mallorca Easter nightmare continues

Headline today in MDB referring to Palma airport security delays.Has anyone got first hand knowledge or any info about this at all.

I have no first hand knowledge of the particular problem but I would comment that MDB are experts in blowing the slightest hint of a problem out of all proportion.

We flew home yesterday morning and am afraid to report that it took nearly an hour to get through airport security. The amusing sign at the TUI check in desk said "the security staff are not on strike they are just very slow"!!

They have also just reopened the revamped (but not finished) Terminal A (Terminal Brit) and there were also delays at passport control until somebody decides to open the electric gates......

We flew home yesterday and walked straight through security with no queues. ��
