Didnt do the tapas route last night, but we've done it many times before. We popped into Matchpoint tho and I must say it was very good, proper size measures of beer and wine and a great selection of Tapas. As good as anywhere. Anyone doing the Ruta, dont miss this one.

Give new places a try!

I never thought I would be extolling the virtues of Matchpoint....one of these new bars that are the brunt of comments about PP changing for the worse!!

But, We called in one Wed when other bars had cancelled music due to football.

OK their music was late starting due to the match but after, their live entertainment was superb (Nel & Alex) Staff were efficient, prices good, place was clean and it had a lovely courtyard for those who didnt want to partake in the footy or entertainment.

Andreus, the manager, (ex Bony Bar) was very welcoming as was the waitress.

So all you old stalwarts of PP give places a chance. They need our support if we want to keep places open and not turn PP into a ghost town of boarded up places like so many others have done.
