Hello everyone, first post here.

I have always been a onlooker since we went on holiday last October and used this site for great information about restraunts and pubs etc. Didn't bother to register as we dont tend to go back to places.

But we loved it in PP and decided to book again to go in May. Can't wait !! especially to visit Siller for a meal and JK's for few beers.

Welcome to the forum. Do post the dates that you will be out in May as someone may arrange a meet-up.

I will be in PP 11th to 15th May for a quick break as it is the first time away without children for 18 years! So if you see a couple in their early forties looking bewildered it wil be us.

And if you see a couple in their early forties (although looking much younger!) with a 12 year old blonde boy looking extremely happy and strolling along in the brilliant sunshine (hopefully!) or sitting in a restaurant consuming enormous amounts of seafood / paella / suckling pig etc. between 19th and 29th May, it will be us.

Hi all.

Haven't posted here for a while but read everyday. My wife and I will be in PP again for a week starting 23rd May if anyone fancies a small libation or two, maybe even a bag of peanuts ! Would be good to put some faces to some of the excellent posts and info that appears here.

?Meet-up?

We are going to PP market on Wednesday 29th April and after, from about 1300hrs we will be sitting outside (weather permitting) Corb Mari (Pine walk) for a coffee. We will take a copy of the mag 'Holiday in Puerto Pollensa' which we will leave on the table. It would be good to meet other members. Thought this location would be good so that those back in the UK can also be there (via BH webcam).

Hope you can make it, looking forward to meeting you.

We are in the port until 20th May so perhaps more meet up's could be arranged.

No just worked it out for my self, you are GMT+2hrs, so BST+1 , so your 1300 will be our 1200, correct ?

We'll be back in PP from 9th to 16th May so will try to locate you on Wed 6th May, outside the Corb Mari restaurant, after a visit to the local market. It would be good to put some faces to all the good posts on here By the way, do you mean to use the newly re-named C'an Pescadores restaurant (the one which was a Dakota/Tex Mex last year)?

The Corb Mari have tables outside for snacks until about 6pm. Those are the tables you can see people at via the Web Cam (when it's working).

Thanks Zelda - I wrongly thought those belonged to the other restaurant but will try to see who is around on the next visit.

We're in Mallorca 9-16th May and staying at a Villa a few miles out from PP but expect to be hanging out in Pollensa old town and PP , look out for a guy making chainmail jewellery and a girl reading thriller novels.
