I just came across this - am hoping my sister will let me buy it for my nephew's 3rd birthday - it looks great fun!

Trunki is a revolutionary Ride-On child suitcase for globetrotting tot’s.

Trunki's light weight and durable design is hand luggage approved, with generous space inside for boredom busting activities and at only £24.99 it's the ultimate child travel luggage companion.

Trunki's innovative design allows it to be sat on, ridden and pulled along, or adults can carry it with a shoulder strap.

And would make a great Xmas Pressie...

The guy that has invented this was on Dragons Den the other night. I thought it was fantastic but the panel slated it!!

Twin girls had these as their hand luggage when we were going to PP in July and they are fab!

I prefer ruck sacks, making the kids carry a small rucksack each is good and encourages responsibilty over thier possesions. Trunkie however means half the time adults have to drag thier tired children around on it when frankly us parents have enough stuff to carry at airports! I watched two bored, suitcase laden, tired parents pulling thier 'adorable' crying children along a queue in gatwick, Whilst our four stood with rucksacks on thier backs watching. These trunkies are also too big and bulky to be any good whilst on a flight for kids to get thier things out to play etc. RUCKSACKS RULE!
