Memorial Plaque In Memory of Katy

I was very sad when I found out that Katy of Katy's Bar on Pine Waks in the Port had sadly passed away in hospital.
Katy was a lovely lady and had many friends both residents and visitors who frequented her quaint little bar/restaurant. The bar was also the base for the Liverpool Ramblers Footballers who visit Pollensa every September.
She will be missed by all and I and my family are just glad to have many happy memories of being in Katy's company, especially on the 2 occasions she visited us at our house in Sa Coma to attend our youngest daughter Ellen's 4th & 5th Birthday celebrations.

During Katy's time in Pollensa she was charitable in all her ways and even paid for a statue to be built in Pollenca. She even had her own record, written by Dowie Rice from Liverpool, called 'Katy is An Angel'. Every morning Katy would be sitting in her restaurant wrapping the knives and forks in napkins ready for thedays trading, with the record playing in the background. Yes, Katy truly is an Angel...

I think it would be fitting to have a memorial plaque installed somewhere in the Port, as this lady should never be forgotten, so I propose to set up a fund and would appreciate peoples comments and support in this project.
