NEW BAR opening - Friday 18 November, LIVE MUSIC with the fabulous Sharry C from 7pm - Midnight at El Passeig. Located Frontline next to the Mombassa bar. The boys are back in town, Jose, Benito, formerly from Bar Es Refugi.

Saw that advert too On FB, anyone know anything about it, if its next to Mombassa does that mean Take Eat Easy has closed? I hope not loved it there. It will be interesting having two music bars next to each other!!!

That is a shame, TIE was a different wee place for a bite to eat or a takeaway. It beat grumpy old Tolo hands down for a takeaway Pizza.

Good to see though that new businesses are having a go in PP.

I disagree but have posted on the TEE thread.
Thinking about it, Mombassa doesn't get going till after midnight so shouldn't make too much difference to the noise in that area, good they are opening up now, but also brave, it does get quite that end in the winter, mind you with Norai also staying open it might bring more people down there. Also one of the gift shops there said they were staying open too!!
Anyone seen it yet to know what it is like, CathB have you passed it on your morning constitutional?!!

They have completely changed the inside area..there is not really much you can do with the outside

Since closing, the new owner (2016) has been busy doing work inside. A few days ago I asked her if they were going to carry on as a restaurant and she said that she was thinking about it.

Could they be the same people but with a different business plan ?

I'm afraid they won't get much business with the lights they have chosen. Not during the winter.

Looks like its all change here again. Lots of re decoration and a new name. Not open yet though

Has re opened - has had another refit and looks very nice Possibly called Cafe Vitho / Vitmo?? Tapas , Pizza etc
