New Gym

If you want to keep up your fitness while on holiday i noticed a new gym just opened along the road from the Chivas disco. Very modern, state of the art, don't know the entry criteria but all the details were shown outside.

Had a quick peak inside in passing this week..looks very good and much better than a lot i have seen at home..I am sure I saw a notice for a weekly fee...possibly €7.50 i think

That is an excellent price. Any idea if the gym has a pool too? Bit too cold in the sea in January!

Sorry but i don't know where Chivas Disco is. Any other prominent / well known sites in the area.

Mr Jupiter will be delighted to know there is a new gym in PP.

No pool, but the public one by the police station is only 3 eurosa session

Has anyone used this pool? I Will try it out next time over but just wondered if it was warm and clean.

I have a circulation problem and unable to swim in too cool water. I also have an obsession with only using clean pools.

Ok - perhaps I am fussy and asking for just too much lol

i've used it a few times, very clean compared to public pools here at home.

remember to take a swimming cap though as there is a rule they must be worn if you have long hair

Great that they are clean and warm.
SO many here in Essex are not so good. Really feel you will catch something nasty! and cold too.

Pool is nice and warm. Next door tennis courts (including equipment hire) is good value. Think the new gym has something to do with BHI - if so as well as the golf club/developments/sales/Fairline/lettings they may have another string to their bow!

Good to have this in PP and sounds as if it could be good value.
Great for winter visits too - especially when weather is not so good it is somewhere to go to burn off those extra calories.

It is on the ground floor of some brand new Barnard Hamilton apartments as Sparky rightly says in C/Metge LLopis. And very smart it looks too !!

Am pleased to say that you can now find details of the new gym in our Health, Fitness & Beauty section. Their own website is not ready yet but as soon as it is, there will be a link to it from their advert. The gym is being run by Sarah Barnard, a very pleasant lady!

Not only has it a nice gym, but a great little spot (without fag smoke) for a cuppa and snack! With very big "clean windows" you can sit & watch the world go by,very hospitable is Sarah.
