THE town council is seeking bids for a contract to reform the car park close to the sports ground in the Port. The land belongs to the council and is already used as a car park but it needs to be asphalted and equipped with pavements and lighting. Mayor Joan Cerda said that it would also have a garden and a children's playground. The cost of the project is 180'000 euros and half of it will be paid for by the Council of Majorca.
