Earlier in the year I resisted booking early for October and it paid off

There have been some bargains on most of the usual villa rental companies recently and most have been snapped up so it's great to see there will be people spending in Pollensa in October.

Two weeks ago some of the companies had pages and pages of October availability, now just a few left on some of the websites.

Flights have been reasonable at Monarch recently and offer codes so I could not resist

Same here - just booked a villa for October that was £565 instead of the usual £670, and that includes a hire car! And, as you say, very reasonable Monarch prices as well.

We got a Vintage travel villa for £350, and they changed the arrival day from sat to fri without charge.
