Oro playa apts

We booked 14 days at the Oro Playa Apts for 22nd september, we usually go there for our last cheap holiday of the year when in Pollensa, its great value and a good location. However we got a call from our travel agent on friday saying the Oro Playa is closing early for the season, although they didnt say why. We can only assume its because of low occupancy and maybe some refurb works ,.

Does anyone know any more ??
we are now going to stay at the Eolo hotel, which i think will be a noisier location , but hopefully ok !

Have friends going there in October booked direct and as far as I know think they are still going will let you know when I see them at the weekend,

I heard that the Oro Playa is going to be all inclusive for next year. They may be closing early to do refurbishments.

Thomson Holidays - Aparthotel Playa Mar

Sorry, always get they two mixed up....the above is all inclusive for '11 !!

The Playa Mar is offering an All Inclusive option from 2011. As for the Oro Playa , I've just done a search for July 2011 (with Thomas Cook) & it appears in their list as Self-Catering so I don't think they are changing.

I also searched for availability for 22nd Sept & it wasn't listed but there are plenty of others available.

i sure we will find out eventually, as i say we are sorted now, hopefully, and cannot wait to get back to PP, we are just hoping the lovely wam weather holds for us!!!
