Me again.
Just back again from our usual winter jaunt to Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria. 28 degrees and lovely relaxing time with some nice food too.
Oh, and yes, I won the crazy golf 7-1

Am I the only one that goes anywhere else?
Had a great week in Lindos in Rhodes last month. Weather was brilliant if you like the heat. 90 degrees in the day so great for me. Beautiful old town and great food.
And we had three lovely cats that visited our apartment a number of times each day. We called them Spod, Missy Moo and Furry B*******.
Guess which one was male and guess which two I named!!

Just got back from Barcelona yesterday after 5 days. Beautiful city with incredible architecture and friendly people. Great food at excellent prices. Well recommended.
Anyway, that is it now until Feb and Gran Canaria.

Whereabouts do you stay in Gran Canaria Martinchip?

We go to Playa Blanca every year in the winter /spring time Relaxing Hire cars are great new and cheap ! Not as good Restaurants as in PP

We stayed in Pefkos by Lindos several times but hate Rhodes airport the terrible hire cars ( Seat Belts hanging on by a thread Tyres !! ) and the terrible roads and the quality of accomodation especially the plumbing Beware the cats a friend recently was bitten and spent part of her holiday in Hospital on a drip with very swollen Arm

We spend Christmas on the Costa de Sol Small town off the coast All Spanish Bars and restaurants We love Malaga and should be there next week but I have had an eye op so we have booked ourselves into plush boutique Hotel on the coast about 30mins away for a rest but not going to have any Sol ! Enjoyed Valencia Girona most of the Costa Brava Have done tons of driving holidays to France a while back also seen quite a bit of Italy Great holidays in Germany Love Praque for the buildings and the Opera

If we could only go to one place each year it would be PP though Really relax as soon as we get there Sometimes add a few days on in Palma too

So many wonderful places around the world and all quite different. I've been fortunate enough to have had some lovely holidays, but if I could only recommend one, then it would have to be Sri Lanka. Its got so much going for it especially if you go for a fortnight and spend a week of it touring.

Whereabouts do you stay in Gran Canaria Martinchip?

We always stay at the Altair Apartments in Puerto Rico. They are an adults only complex relatively high up ( so loads of steps from the Commercial Centre ) but are nice and comfy with a great view. Decent prices too with Thomas Cook.
