Does anyone know if this bar reoopened or not

I am afraid not, the girls had major problems with water and sewage leaking into the place. They asked their landlord to either reduce the rent or share the cost of the repairs but he/she refused so they had no choice but to close.
The last i heard it was going to open as a gift shop.

They were certainly fitting it out at the end of last week Sparky,but didn't look today.

Does anyone know if the ladies stayed in PP or did they return to Blighty?
Pat was working as a nurse/carer for an old local as well as working in the bar.They are both really nice people and put alot of money into the bar-it's such a shame when things don't work out and it's beyond your control.

As far as i know they are still here, i have seen them a few times but not recently. They were devastated when they had to give up on the bar because as you said they put everything into it but i am sure they will bounce back, thankfully they had the nursing to fall back on.

Hope they do bounce back as friends who went ther ewere always positive.It's very difficult to make money from a small bar especially with the high rents
