PC City alternative

My modem/router blew on my last visit and I was surprised to see that PC City had closed. I then spent a long time trying to find a place to buy one, (Alcampo included.) Eventually I found one at a small PC shop in Alcudia. Luckily it was the last one they had.

Now that PC City is no more, where else has a good selection of PC stuff?

Is P C Coste in the port still open,have used them a few times in the past, found prices very good and if they did not have a part in stock they would obtain it sometimes next day,also try Confort, they have been very helpful

No Phil, PC Coste has been closed for a few months now. There is a place behind the church in Roger de Flor but i can't think of the name.

I tried the big Confort in Inca, but they do very little computer stuff and no routers

My computer is like Triggers brush (only fools and horses) 10 years old and like brand new but has had 8 handles and 15 brush heads, Confort in the port will order most parts in when asked,dont know if it depends on the branch but I have always found this shop to be first rate for everything electrical and the staff very helpful and obliging.For computer stuff I used to deal with their computer technician,catch him first thing in the morning before he goes on his rounds, top guy, knows his stuff.

but I would stand corrected!

pescador2009 you are correct. noticed that PC Coste had gone but a new one has opened more or less opposite where they used to be.

The large El Corte Ingles on Av. Alexandre Rossello, 12-16 in Palma has a big computer department on the electrical (4th?) floor.
