Pedicure

Only 19 days until we arrive, and one of the first things my wife likes to do is to get a good pedicure and nail paint job (technical terms!), but not sure where to go.

She had one last year at a place on the front line, next door to Barnard Hamilton estate agents, but said the experience was very strange, more like going for a medical procedure! Complete silence throughout in very sterile surroundings! :confused:

Trying to see if there are better options in the area?

Anyone got any ideas?

There is a lovely Beauty Parlour type shop almost next door to the Ivy Garden, one block back from Pine Walk...directly behind the Six Pins Hotel. Was chatting to the owner in April, the shop had a vintage feel & the pedicure/manicures looked great!

There is a place on the frontline doing fish pedicures... where the dead skin gets nibbled off your feet by ruff fish....It had only just opened in April so assume it is still there. It's actually a strangely relaxing experience!
 
They are rubbish at painting toe nails though, just can't hold the brush with their fins! :D
 
Sparky mentioned Pamper By The Pool. We used them a couple of years ago when it was our daughters 21st birthday when we were holidaying in PP. We pre-booked, as a surprise, one of their whole body makeover type affairs on their website from England so were a little bit unsure of how it would all work, but their girl turned up at the villa exactly on time, was really friendly, and the whole thing seemed really professional. She brought absolutely everything that she needed with her, and it made for a really special present.

I would highly recommend them.

Happy to report (bit late, sorry!) that Sam from Pamper by the Pool came on Monday, wonderful personal service, lovely lady, and did a brilliant job, both my ladies enjoyed it immensely!
