I opened this white wine last night to go with our grilled chicken even though I was supposed to be staying off wine for a whole week! Oh well!:\
This was a present from the lovely lady who owned our villa and I must admit I wouldn't have bought it if I had been in the supermarket.
But it was a change to try a white wine from Mallorca and this one is made from Macabeu (Macabeo or Viura grapes - same as white Rioja) and Premsal which I had never heard of.
I chilled it for an hour and found it quite fruity and very easy-drinking. It wasn't too dry and went very well with the chicken. It would be great as a lunchtime drink in the sun with grilled fish as well!
I'm sure it is available widely in the supermarkets of PP.
