Picnic at Lluc

At 8 this morning the heat was intense in PP so we thought we would have a picnic in the mountains.
We arrived at Lluc and had a lovely day.

What a great idea, Miriam! I've been looking at the PP temperatures with some trepidation - since I wilt in too much heat. A picnic in the mountains sounds marvellous. I've printed off your post about Lluc - and will investigate other "mountain" possibles ifor hot days - and leave PP for morning and evening.

Any suggestions, folks?

When our children were small we always had a day in the mountains for a picnic. This year my daughter now 21 wanted to go back with her partner. We stopped at the picnic park just before the monastry on the left hand side where you can have a lovely walk in the woods and picnic at one of the many picnic tables. There are bbq,s and toilets here also. After a walk in the woods we went on to the monastry for a walk around and an ice cream. Well worth the visit.
