Pollensa restaurants

Apologies if this has already been covered (if it has, I can't find it !!!) ..staying in Pollensa (not PP) for the last 2 weeks of August and was wondering if anyone had any recommended restaurants ? (Have more than enough recommendations in PP for 14 days !!)
Kid-friendly a bonus but looking for more of a local variety than pasta/pizza/chips etc...
I'm sure the wealth of knowledge here will be able to help !

The only restaurant I have been to in Pollensa is il Giardino (Italian) very good

You'll be spoilt for choice in Pollensa

Cantonet, C'an Costa, La Trencadora ,Clivia are all fantastic but if you have young children ,although all these restaurants would make them very welcome and most have kids menu's, they (and you!) may prefer to be around the square where they can let off steam while you eat and drink with no worries C'a Nolesa is very nice.. good food, lovely building and situated at the bottom of the square.

Try Font del Gall,( back of the church on the way to the Calvari) superb food and excellent value for money. Probably the best meal we had this visit. I think they have a childrens menu.
