Well, you wouldn't want to walk there Billyboy! It is pretty difficult to park if you get there later on though, so best to start early, park, drink - sorry - taste, then walk into town for a meal to soak it all up again.:)

Oh, billyboy has gone! But the point is still made!

Thanks for the information sounds like its all very good fun will have to see if I can get out to Pollensa for this another year as long as they don't change the dates.
Car parking will not worry me as I do not drive can I get a bus there from the Port if not theres always a taxi.
Once again thnks for the information.

Billyboy you should definitely try and make it one year! It's a great day out and plenty of buses and taxi's to take you from the Port into Pollensa.

Not a day to drive that's for sure ;)

The times for the wine festival have been posted, they are 1000 - 2000 Saturday and 1000 - 1400 on Sunday.

Thanks to the volcano,we were forced into having to attend the wine festival, and what a really great event .Showing off the wines of Mallorca and some examples from Ibiza.Managed to sample a good few and purchase some. The quality of the wines has improved a lot over the years.Would highly recommend anyone planning to be on the island next year to pencil in the date for the next one.

I'm glad some good came out of the problem! No doubt there will be a few more PPF members attending next year!

Yes, a fantastic event and very civilized. €5 entry including commemorative glass, booklet and souvenir pencil to make notes! 38 different wineries so I reckon about 100 different wines to sample if you had the stamina.

We picked up a selection in the bike baskets, and finished with a late lunch sitting outside Mollis - a perfect day.

I too can thoroughly recommend this event. Despite being packed with increasingly merry guests it was always civilised and good-natured and the setting is gorgeous. I'm glad they had all those Inca biscuits available to mop up the booze though because after about 8 sizeable tasting measures things were going distinctly blurry...Some of the wines from smaller vineyards were a bargain too - and really drinkable.

Kate your not to drink it you should spit it out after tasting.
Must agree great 5€ worth even with Bonyslad in tow.

Sounds like this was a blast will have to try for next year.
