Sorry guys, I know you'll be absolutely gutted but BonyLadette is dragging me back to the UK on June 8th for the season. Royal Ascot, Wimbledon , Henley Royal Regatta, Polo on Smith's lawn, Aussie Test Match and Braemar Highland Games ( Jimbo, probably give the latter a miss !!!).

Pollenca, Any chance of a rerun in Sept/Oct ??

Meetings

What a good idea, just to say hello, have a natter, express some views etc.,
I would have thought " Pollenca " that you or others could have like a weekly
meet so that whenever we come out we know where we can go at what time and meet up with some of these names. For myself I will be sitting outside of El Pozo on the pavement from 7 to 8 ish most nights June 6th to 12th and then July 1st to 9th and then 27th.July to the 27th.August. Arn,t I lucky. You are bound to recognise my Grey Hair, and most of the locals who have been seeing me for the past 32 years call me Grandad.

Unfortunately I am based in the UK & often when I do come out it's only for a long weekend. This time we are out for a week so I've managed to arrange this.

However we have set these threads up for each month so that you & others can arrange your own get-togethers!

Well I think it went pretty well & the weather was/is fabulous. Everyone who posted to say they were coming came along with myself, my husband & Pollensaman. We got through a few jugs of Sangria as well as peanuts AND prawn crackers (courtesy of Pascalinos). I enjoyed it very much so I do hope you did too.

I've posted a few pictures to the Flickr Group - so have a look.

Med777 (Miriam) couldn't make it but she recognised me the next day at Bar Cultural meeting up with Graeme & Aimee who now run Talk of the North & came to say hello.
