HELP!! I have just ugraded to Windows 7 and now cannot play the Alaro market place webcam(my new favourite) - or any of the Livepro cams - I get the message 'no playable source' or similar - any gurus out there who can help - Please..........

I guess you are using Internet explorer as that does not have flash by default, I just tried it and with Firefox and chrome the alaro webcam works, in IE it does not on my PC as I dont use Internet Explorer usually.

If you are using Internet Explorer you will need to install flash player as SWS says.
this link will check:
Flash Player Help | Flash Player Help

Click on 'Check now' and follow the instructions.

when you do install flash player read the screen carefully before clicking install or OK as there will be a box that is ticked that will install an 'Optional offer' such as Google chrome browser or McCaffe security, so read and un-tick that box if you dont want anything else installing.

Hope that helps :)

Probably better off installing firebox browser as generally more robust and less controlling than Internet Explorer.

Funny old things these computers. I have windows 7 and I run internet explorer and I got all the web cams without a problem.
Re Alaro square. That is one hell of a busy little square. No matter what time of day you go into it, there are always lots of people about.
Just what you need in January. People sitting in the square in glorious sun shine having a drink. God they look stressed. lol:) Ah well, time I switched the light on so I can see what I'm doing, well it is 11am :(

agree with what Mark says about Firefox, after always being a stalwart IE user I finally went over to Mozilla Firefox, and wish I had earlier, far better in every way than IE!

Thank you all for your advice:) I do use Firefox as my default browser and have now identified the problem. It was caused by Malwarebytes preventing me accessing the site saying it was 'a potentially malicious site' - I contacted Hans at Live Pro and he said just to ignore as the site is safe - so I have done this and have had my fix now of all the happy people sitting in the sun in the square - me jealous? - you bet I am:D

Alaro webcam

Just have a look on there at the moment. It makes you sick:). Spot the empty table. What we need is a megaphone next to the camera so we can tell em all to clear off !:)

lol, and do you notice they are all facing the sun topping up the tan, as I hope to next week :)

I noticed alright, talk about rubbing salt in the wound:(. I've said before I could understand it if you had to spend 8 hours on a plane to get there, but these days it only 1.50minutes. It would take me longer to drive to the coast over here:mad:

Alaro market place is very lively tonight - packed with people and smoke keeps drifting in front of the camera:eek: Is it an early San Antonio party I wonder:)

Looks like there could be a 'barbie' on the go the way everyone is huddled around.....and the smoke;)

Hi. Does the Sail and surf cam work for you guy's? If it does I'll have to look at my comp to find out what the problem is. Many thanks Martin

Lollipop it didn't work in the summer when they were open, i don't think they have a webcam any more.

Oh, that's a shame, I used to like seeing the beach cam.... You would think more of the hotels on the walk would do one... oh well, thanks.

What a lovely looking day

Had my daily look at the webcams and it looks so nice, gets you in the mood for a nice spring time visit to PP - 10 weeks to go!

Alcudia Mal pas now has a webcam! shows the entrance to the beach. It's on the same site as the Alaro sq webcam. I expect it will be more exciting in the summer!

Fantastic Roig cat, thanks for that , can't wait to see it tomorrow in the daylight, my favourite beach on the island!!

Well it's daylight, can't get a live view yet, but I know where it is now, not on the nice bay at the end, but a view of the beach down through the footpath leading to the main beach, looks an amazing morning!! Sorry if this is boring!!! Things like this brighten up a dull day in the UK :)
