My goodness, there must have been some storm. The beach has been hit hard and looks like a couple of yachts have broken from their mooring! I hope everyone is ok!

Yes, the beach down at Tamerells looks properly cut up and the yacht is still stuck on the seafront a bit further to the left.
Plenty of work and cleanup to do, once the storms have gone.

The whole of pine walk is a mess too unfortunately. You can't see the pavement for sand and other debris and there's so much damage to the sea walls and path, its going to take a while to repair.

That is such a wee shame. I remember this happening a couple of times in the past but it always looks worse each time!
As you say, a lot of hard work ahead. Thinking of you all...

I know it’s a pleasant day in south west Essex today, but has anyone looked at the PP Webcams. It’s really beautiful, and the strength of the shadows shows how strong the sun is.

Seemallorca webcam is out of action again. I was wondering about it still raining ;)

The Seemallorca webcam is back working.
And the poles for the sun umbrellas are up.
They seem earlier getting organised this year, which is good with an early Easter.
I noticed the bamboo shades going up at The Miramar , they look new this year.

I wonder what's going to happen with the yacht that has been stuck on the beach after the storms? They surely want it moved before the season starts next week...

It depends on whether the owner can be found and if they have insurance. If not the council will have to foot the bill of about 50k!
