Private Sailing Lessons

Does anyone do private sailing lessons in the port?

I have done the Sail & Surf basic course and want to do more but their hire charges seem a bit steep.

The only other one i know of is the Reial Club Nautic but that is probably even more expensive, you could have a look at their website here :-Restaurants, Cafes, Bars in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca Mallorca

Tamer at Club Pollentia might, he has dinghies & cats, I think, as well as windsurfers. Hotel has just opened for season, not sure when he starts up his operation, might not be until May.

Might be 'negotiable'....

try Martin at A1 Marine in Alcudia they do RYA stuff for power boats so will probably do sail or for sure will know somebody

You can do private lessons with Sail and Surf by the hour. Not sure of this years fees but you pay for the tuition and the hire of the boat.

Thanks all. I know S & S do private tuition and boat hire but I was looking for something a little more reasonably priced - having said that the A1 Marine courses look quite interesting - thanks for the heads up on that Phil.

Try a good friend of mine Stephen Duffy of OceanCall. He has a boatyard located just past the Duva on the right hand side as you head towards Pollenca.

He is very experienced and comes highly recommended. His charges are very reasonable.
